A dedicated cycling club proudly affiliated with British Cycling that offers non-competitive leisure cycle training to all, especially beginners, new riders and returning cyclists especially women, children, elderly and people with special needs at no cost (Free) to the public or those interested in the sport.
Our future plans under discussion are to offer Inclusive Cycle Training for people with special needs as well as weekly group led rides for them, women and elderly to combat isolation and loneliness subject to funding.
Who We Are
We are a group of cyclists ourselves who have been fully trained, qualified as NSIP Instructors for over 5 years. We take safeguarding seriously and hence we all hold Safeguarding Certificates and have strict Safeguarding Policies to make the sport safe for all attendees.
Over the years, we have been part of various community cycling clubs in Birmingham as led ride leaders and cycling instructors. Despite there being over 50+ cycling groups in Birmingham, we realised there is a gap of dedicated cycling groups that just offer Free cycle training as their main activity. Hence, we decided to form this club to address this issue.
Our target audience are all people irrespective of their gender, religion, nationality or race including women, children, elderly and SEN people.
